Sep 9th Sixx Cool Moms® Women’s Self-Defense Seminar w/ The StrongHER® Initiative

The StrongHER® Initiative is thrilled to present this uniquely-developed woman-led workshop exclusively for the Sixx Cool Moms of MOCO.

This workshop goes beyond teaching just the physical components of self-defense and approaches self-protection from the mindset of the attacker. This research-based and trauma-informed seminar includes insights from law enforcement officers and mental health professionals that will help you be better able to, not only physically defend yourself, but to better predict and prevent violent encounters through a better understanding of predatory behavior.

The two-part seminar begins with a guided research-driven conversation that gives insight into an attacker's mentality and develops our ability to recognize pre-attack indicators and predatory behaviors. Participants will leave with a simple model that they can use to evaluate behaviors and feel more confident in their ability to avoid and dissuade unwanted and predatory behavior.
