About the Event
This two-part workshop begins with a guided discussion exploring situational awareness, pre-attack indicators, predatory behaviors, and practical strategies for recognizing, avoiding, and responding to potentially dangerous situations.
Participants will then learn foundational physical self-defense skills, including striking, defensive movements, and responses to common grabs and attacks. Through engaging, hands-on drills, participants will have opportunities to practice these skills in a supportive, welcoming environment.
No previous self-defense or martial arts experience is necessary. Participants should wear comfortable athletic clothing and come prepared to move, learn, and have fun!
